The Ankur School was designed as a preschool Ankur Trust in the Rajasthani desert village of Ghanerao. The school was constructed out of local stones from the site by the local community under our guidance.
The Ankur School was run by the Fabindia School, Bali till 2006. The students who enrolled in this school were mostly first generation learners.
One of the features of the school playground was a pathway that led from the main school block to a small art and craft center in the school yard. This pathway was designed as a river bed with found and recycled materials.
